Munster eased to a 23-12 victory at Firhill as Glasgow suffered a second straight defeat to Irish opposition at the start of the RaboDirect Pro12 season.
Niall Ronan and Simon Zebo scored tries either side of half-time, with Ian Keatley converting both scores and adding three penalties for a 13-point haul.
Glasgow lacked the imagination to cross the try-line themselves and only had four Duncan Weir penalties to show for their efforts as Munster followed Ulster in defeating the Warriors.
The hosts did go close in the opening minute when Freddie Aramburo was just short of a crafty Weir chip from the scrum, but Munster were soon on the attack and Keatley opened the scoring with a simple penalty.
Munster returned the favour from the restart as Weir levelled things up, and Henry Pyrgos then came close to the first try only to be pulled down five metres short after picking up his own chip ahead.
Pressure
Troy Nathan was the next Glasgow attacker put the pressure on the Munster defence, earning a penalty from which Weir gave Glasgow the lead. Keatley levelled the scores, however, and then a long-range attempt by the Munster fly-half took them ahead.
Munster then burst into life just before the break as Danny Barnes burst past Rob Dewey and although Glasgow held on for a couple of minutes, the pressure told and Ronan was driven over.
The Munster pack then firmly established themselves after the interval and started to run the game, with the home side offering very little.
The sharpest move came the 45th minute as Zebo got on the end of a sweeping move to grab a second try for the visitors, before Weir reduced the margin with two penalties.
Munster were never really threatened during the last 30 minutes and collected their second win in the competition with ease, leaving Glasgow with two defeats from their opening two games.
