Wales full-back Kevin Morgan will start his first game in over a month when the Dragons play host to London Irish in the Heineken Cup at Rodney Parade on Saturday.
Morgan, who has been sidelined with a knee injury, comes back into the side at full-back in one of three changes to the starting XV.
"I've been out for the past month with a knee injury and rehab has gone well and I'm pleased to be back," Morgan said.
"We enjoy playing at home and we are confident, we are a good side at home and hopefully we play well enough to get that victory.
"We all recognised that last weekend was a game we could and should have won.
"That is maybe a sign of how far we have come as a team that we can go to Perpignan and be disappointed to have not come away with a victory."
The other two changes see young scrum-half Wayne Evans come in for his first Heineken Cup start, which means Andy Williams drops to the bench.
After Dan Lydiate was stretchered off in last weekend's game against Perpignan, the promising young flanker has been replaced by Jamie Ringer.
The full extent of Lydiate's injury is not known yet but it is expected he will be out of action for at least six months.
