British and Irish Lions flanker Martyn Williams will return to the Cardiff line-up for the derby clash with the Ospreys on Saturday.
Williams has been sidelined with a shoulder injury he sustained while playing for the Lions on the tour to South Africa.
However Williams will return to the Blues line-up for the highly-anticipated derby against the Ospreys - with record attendance expected.
Xavier Rush is also back for the Blues, with Robin Sowden-Taylor and Andy Powell both ruled out.
Paul Tito returns to the bench, however Gareth Thomas and Bradley Davies are both a week away from coming into contention for selection.
Improved
Meanwhile, Shane Williams is named Ospreys captain for the first time.
"We are pleased with the results of the last four games, if not the overall performances during those matches," said Ospreys coach Jonathan Humphreys
"We will take a great deal of satisfaction from putting together four games without loss but we realise that there is still some way for us to before we can say we are the finished article.
"We've seen at times during each one of those games signs of what we are capable of, but we need now to start turning those 40-minute performances into 80 minutes.
"I think it's fair to say that over the last couple of years (the Blues) improved out of sight on and off the field. They've got facilities that are now probably among the best in Europe, if not the best, they have a very good, very competitive squad with more Lions than any region, so they really are looking good on and off the field."
