Ospreys earned their first victory of the new Guinness PRO12 season by defeating winless Benetton Treviso 25-22 in Italy.
The Welsh region ran in three tries in their maiden triumph of the campaign - Dan Evans, Ben John and Sam Davies all touching down - while a late try for the hosts ensured they picked up a bonus point in defeat.
Davies missed two early penalties after Jayden Hayward had put Treviso 3-0 up, but Evans finished off a fine team move to cross the whitewash and give the visitors the lead, even though Davies was once again wayward with the extras.
James Ambrosini and John traded tries before Hayward hit the upright with a long-range penalty which meant Ospreys headed into the interval 12-8 in front.
Davies padded that lead by finally sending a penalty between the posts and although he missed another three-pointer, he scored Ospreys' third try and converted his own score to make it 22-8 16 minutes from time.
Hayward went in after a counter attacking move from Treviso and added the extras himself before another Davies penalty restored Ospreys' double-figure lead.
With time running out, Hayward struck a penalty which would have given Treviso a bonus point against a post, but the Italians claimed the rebound and eventually scored their third try through Luca Bigi.
