Widnes host Bradford looking to chalk-up their third successive home victory and climb off the foot of the Stobart Super League table.
Denis Betts' side go into the clash on the back of heavy away defeats to Catalan Dragons and Warrington Wolves.
But the Vikings will take heart from victories in their last two outings in front of their own fans - a 37-36 success over Wigan and latterly a 38-30 triumph against the London Broncos.
The cash-strapped Bulls put their off-the-field financial problems to one side with a morale-boosting 12-4 Good Friday victory over Leeds Rhinos, which halted a two-match losing run.
Clarke back
Widnes have skipper Jon Clarke back from a three-match absence with a knee injury and prop Ben Davies returns in place of Alex Gerrard after missing the derby defeat at Warrington.
Betts could hand a Super League debut to 18-year-old full-back Jack Owens in the absence of Australian Cameron Phelps.
Vikings coach Betts admits it will be a difficult task to get his players up for their second game in quick succession.
"It's a tough ask for the best sides, never mind the sides who are struggling with the size and age of their squads," he said.
"This weekend turns into a mental battle. It's about getting your mind ready to play when your body is not."
As for the Bulls, prop Craig Kopczak makes his comeback after missing the last five games following a finger fracture.
His return is timely as the Bulls are only able to name an 18-man squad for the game. Mick Potter's side had only 19 fit players for the game against the Rhinos and have lost Phil Joseph and Karl Pryce through injury.
Front rower Bryn Hargreaves is free to continue as he awaits any punishment for his dismissal against Leeds for a spear tackle on Jamie Peacock.
Widnes squad: Ah Van, Allen, Cahill, Craven, Cross, Clarke, Dean, Davies, Finnigan, Flynn, Haggerty, Hanbury, Isa, J. Kite, Leuluai, Moore, Owens, White, Winterstein.
Bradford squad: Sammut, Diskin, Lulia, Whitehead, L'Estrange, Burgess, Jeffries, Addy, Hargreaves, Kopczak, Kearney, Platt, Langley, Purtell, Ainscough, Olbison, Elima, Manuokafoa.
