Samoan heavyweight Mose Masoe is set to make his eagerly-awaited Super League debut for Nathan Brown's high-flyers.
The 24-year-old former Penrith prop, who is 6ft 6in and weighs 20st 4lb, missed the start of the season after undergoing surgery on an ankle he damaged playing in the 2013 World Cup.
"Mose has trained well and is in our 19-man squad," said Brown. "The fans have high hopes for him and Mose should get a lot of confidence from that."
Brown also has stand-off Gary Wheeler available after missing last week's win over Salford with a dead leg.
Two changes
Hull coach Craig Sandercock has made two changes to his 19-man squad, Jonny Walker and Omari Caro the duo to miss out due to injury.
Prop Jonny Walker drops out of the squad after being ruled out for up to eight weeks with a knee ligament injury.
Leading try-scorer Omari Caro will miss the trip along the M62 because of a hand injury sustained in the 30-10 defeat by Castleford last Friday night.
Experienced props Justin Poore and Mick Weyman return following suspension.
"It's very important to have a couple of experienced players like Mick and Justin back," Sandercock told the Hull Daily Mail. "They are fresh and fit and I'm sure they will rise to the challenge."
