Winger looks to kick-start his career at Bradford

Winger Dave Halley has signed for Keighley after he was released five months early from his contract at Bradford. The 24-year-old, who can also play at full-back, scored 24 tries in 80 appearances for the Bulls - but knee reconstruction surgery has meant he has not played this season. And Halley is hoping the drop down to the Championship One outfit will help kick-start his career. "Having been given the medical all-clear, I need regular first-team rugby at full-back and am excited to join player-coach Jason Demetriou in the Cougars' battle for promotion," Halley said. "I have thoroughly enjoyed my eight years at Odsal Stadium but am excited by the new challenges ahead." Bradford football manager Stuart Duffy said: "We would like to thank Dave for exemplary service to the Bulls and we wish him every success in the future."
