Wakefield have handed a full-time 12-month contract to teenage winger Judah Mazive.
The Bulawayo-born 18-year-old, a product of the Trinity youth and academy system, made his Super League debut in the Super 8s against Wigan in August after returning from the England academy tour to Australia.
Wakefield coach Chris Chester said: "Judah has a big future at the club. We were not expecting him to make such the progression he has made over the last 12 months.
"I am delighted that he has signed on for a year and I look forward to see him progress over the coming months and throughout next season."
The player himself was also delighted to have committed his future to the club.
"I am happy to extend my contract at Wakefield," said Mazive.
"I have a big year ahead to improve as a player and to impress the coaching staff as I'd love to stay for years to come."
