Wakefield have signed Warrington's long-serving forward Ben Harrison on loan until the end of the season.
However, he will not be available to face Wolves at next week's Challenge Cup semi-final.
The 28-year-old Cumbrian has made 211 appearances for the Wolves since joining in 2005 but has been sidelined this season following surgery on a knee, wrist and ankle.
He will join Trinity with immediate effect and help provide cover following the loss of front-row forwards Chris Annakin and Anthony England who have suffered season-ending injuries.
Wakefield coach Chris Chester said: "I am pleased that I have been able to secure Ben on loan.
"With the losses of Anthony England, who is out for the year, Tom Johnstone and Mika Simon, I needed to strengthen the squad.
"Ben brings a wealth of experience to the side. He will be a great asset to the club and I look forward to working with him."
Wakefield beat Friday's transfer deadline to register their latest recruit but he will not be able to play against Warrington, either in the cup semi-final or Super 8s.
