Leigh sealed their spot in the last 16 of the Carnegie Challenge Cup with a 32-20 win at Limoux.
Ian Millward's side made their arduous trek to the south of France worthwhile despite not arriving in their destination until 4am on the morning of the match.
After an 18-hour journey by train and coach from Folkestone - forced on them due to their flight being cancelled due to the volcanic ash coming from Iceland, the Centurions showed little sign of fatigue as they raced into a 10-0 lead inside 14 minutes.
Tries from Dave Alstead and Steve Maden and a goal from Mick Nanyn put the visitors in control but the game turned on its head as Limoux established a 16-10 lead via touch downs from Maxime Herold, Bastian Almacha and Russell Bussian, along with two goals from Phil Ramage.
However, Leigh benefited from their second wind and they secured their fourth-round win thanks to second-half tries from James Taylor, Mike Morrison, Ricky Bibey and Nanyn, who took his goal tally to four.
