Hull have recalled prop Jamie Thackray after a two-match absence and centre or loose forward Richard Whiting is in line for his first senior outing for 11 months as coach Richard Agar rings the changes following three successive defeats.
After a fine start to the campaign, Hull's loss of form has seen them drop to fifth, while the Robins are just a place below them in sixth.
Unless Hull KR captain Michael Vella is a late inclusion after overcoming a knee injury, coach Justin Morgan is likely to field an unchanged team as they go in search of a sixth win in nine Super League derbies.
Rovers won two out of three last season, recovering from a heavy defeat at the KC first up to win both at Hull and at Craven Park, with a tense 11-10 victory.
