Hull KR produced another sensational Stobart Super League comeback to stun Warrington 23-22 at MS3 Craven Park.
Having come from 14 points down to beat Hull FC at the Magic Weekend in Manchester, the Robins rallied from 22-6 behind to seal their third successive win in dramatic fashion.
Scrum-half Michael Dobson was the hero for the hosts, landing a 77th-minute drop goal to go alongside his try and three penalties.
The Wolves had appeared on course to close the gap on leaders Wigan to a point when they crossed four times in the first half, only to fail to muster a single point after the break.
Blow
It was the Wolves, boosted by the return of internationals Brett Hodgson, Ben Westwood and Chris Bridge, who made an ideal start when Gareth O'Brien opened the scoring with a try from a Rovers error.
Con Mika juggled a pass enough for O'Brien to scoop the ball up and gallop 60 metres to the line, Brett Hodgson adding the extras to make it 6-0.
Having earlier knocked on when he seemed certain to score, Westwood went over in the10th minute when he grounded a kick from Lee Briers.
The Robins were less than impressed by match official Robert Hicks with Warrington's third try, the home players and fans thinking Chris Riley had knocked the ball forward before scorching in from 80 metres out.
Rhys Lovegrove spilled a Josh Hodgson pass forward two metres from the Warrington line before Josh Hodgson did make it over the line, scooting over under the posts from dummy-half. Dobson converted to cut the deficit to 18-6.
Rovers coach Craig Sandercock would have accepted a 12-point deficit at the break, but his side leaked a fourth try moments before half-time.
Michael Dobson's kick under pressure gifted Warrington easy possession deep in their own half, with the Rovers defence out of position, and within seconds Riley was celebrating his second try of the game.
Errors
It seemed Hull KR's hopes of a comeback were going to be dashed by their own errors, Craig Hall's knock-on ending their first chance of adding points before Graeme Horne dropped a pass that would have led to a try.
However, after Chris Hill's error, Lincoln Withers sent Dobson over from close range to kick-start the recovery missing, the try-scorer also converting to make it a 10-point gap with half an hour to play.
From their next set, Horne made amends for his previous error by breaking through a tackle to send winger Sam Latus in for the try.
Rovers then drew level in the 68th minute when Hall backed himself to score, even though he was faced with three Wolves defenders, the stand-in stand-off - filling in for the injured Blake Green - touching down under the posts to make the conversion a formality for Dobson.
At 22 apiece it came down to a battle between the two one-point experts - Dobson landed his from 20 metres out and then watched as Briers' attempt with time running out drifted wide to the left.
