Castleford Tigers have named full-back Luke Dorn in their squad for Friday’s Super League clash with Wigan Warriors at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle.
The Australian comes in for the injured Jordan Tansey after impressing head coach Daryl Powell in training.
Winless Cas are without Denny Solomona, who picked up a knee injury in the defeat at St Helens, while Scott Moore serves a one-match suspension. Andy Lynch is included despite struggling with a groin problem.
Powell insists confidence remains high despite their three successive defeats.
"The players have reacted well," he said. "There's no sulking or moping about. We are pretty positive and we are trying to get ourselves the two points.
"I think we've done some good things, whilst not being at our best, and we probably should have picked points up in all three games. Whilst it is disappointing that's the life at the top at the sharp edge at times.
"We've lost some tight games and we have tough games ahead and we need to rise to the challenge and hopefully get the job done this week."
Wigan suffered their second successive defeat at Hull KR last weekend and head coach Shaun Wane has made two changes to his 19-man squad.
Matt Bowen returns after missing Sunday’s 22-20 reverse at the KC Lightstream Stadium, while winger Dom Manfredi is also recalled.
Lee Mossop and Dan Sarginson retain their places, with youngsters Ryan Hampshire and Connor Farrell missing out.
"If they were lacking in effort I'd be worried but they're trying their best and they trust me," Wane said. "It's my job as coach to make them better."
