Castleford coach Terry Matterson will give a Super League to scrum-half Kyle Wood for the visit of Hull.
Wood has been signed on loan from Huddersfield following the sudden departure of Brent Sherwin to Catalans Dragons.
"It's a great opportunity for the young kid," said Matterson. "I'll be honest, I didn't know a whole lot about him but (Huddersfield coach) Nathan Brown spoke very highly of him.
"We've got a month to have a look him and I'm sure Huddersfield will be looking at him as well."
Michael Shenton returns from a four-match absence with a hand injury in place of the unfit James Evans and prop Mitchell Sargent has recovered from illness.
But the Tigers have a major doubt over stand-off Rangi Chase and Paul Jackson and Kirk Dixon are still out.
Hull look set to be unchanged from the side that won in Perpignan, with Liam Cunningham poised to make his home debut.
Richard Horne, Shaun Berrigan, Epalahame Lauaki, Willie Manu and Peter Cusack remain sidelined while hooker Paul McShane's loan from Leeds has been extended to enable him to play in this match.
Castleford squad: Shenton, Wainwright, Chase, Sargent, Hudson, Huby, Ferres, Snitch, Westerman, Jones, Higgins, Clayton, Thompson, McGoldrick, Widders, Holmes, Tuson, Arundel, Wood.
Hull squad: T. Briscoe, Burnett, Cunningham, Dowes, Fitzgibbon, Hall, Houghton, Long, McShane, Moa, O'Meley, Nicklas, Radford, Tansey, Tickle, Turner, Washbrook, Whiting, Yeaman.
