Wibbadune is preferred to Minnow and Dress To Impress. The selection has taken some time to get the hang of this game but he gave a good account of himself in a maiden last week and there is every reason to believe that he may be in here off a very fair handicap mark. Minnow has been well backed on his last two starts but is always vulnerable to anything with a finishing kick. Dress To Impress was a convincing winner of a maiden over course-and-distance in November but has questions to answer after a modest run at the track earlier this month. Slipasearcher's form has tailed off markedly over the year and an attempt to reinvigorate his ideas about the game is tried with the drop to the minimum trip. Diminuto is not the biggest of individuals but she is game and goes well for her apprentice rider. The front-runner may get found out at this level. Wibbadune has plenty in his favour and can secure an overdue victory here.
