Corlough Mountain can make up for her recent defeat to atone, with Prince Of Charm and Azreme seen as the main dangers. Corlough Mountain was sent off as favourite on her return from a six-month absence at Yarmouth a fortnight ago, but had to be switched to make a run from the back, and in the end found one too good. She will be a lot fitter now, and as long as she handles the ground, can make her first venture into handicap company a winning one. Prince Of Charm is better treated on Turf than the all-weather, and looked the part when scoring over seven furlongs at Salisbury three weeks ago. This will be tougher though, and it must be remembered that he flopped badly when tried on testing ground at Newbury last October. There are no problems on that score regarding Azreme who is well treated on Turf these days, and he looks a major player. Walter Swinburn and Adam Kirby have teamed up successfully of late, so Valley Observer should not be totally written off, but Corlough Mountain has plenty of scope and is the one to be on.
