Osiris had form on soft ground in Ireland and he can see off Dhaudeloup and Barton Hill. With a mudbath afoot, the ability to stay is more necessary than ever and Evan Williams' new recruit stays up to three miles readily. He was campaigned against better opposition in the past and gets our nod. Dhaudeloup has had his training troubles and isn't quite the same horse who was winning decent hurdle races off marks of 131. Barton Hill is unproven on the surface but Paul Keane is a good placer of horses and if there is any market support - it would be unwise to ignore it. Lantern Lad handles the surface but has a woeful run at Uttoxeter to put behind him. Many viable chances here but its worth chancing that Osiris can strike on his British debut for new connections.
