Our Gar makes his handicap debut conceding lumps of weight all round. Pru Dobbs' charge looked a very promising type when scoring at Navan and Punchestown in the spring and ran better than his finishing position suggests behind One Cool Tornado on his return at Listowel. He made a couple of errors late in the race that day and faces a tough task in conceding MACVILLE 27lbs here as Patrick Neville's mare has been in very good heart on her last two starts. She easily beat Celtic Wish at Killarney in August before an even better run behind Elyaadi at Listowel where she only succumbed at the last after leading into the straight. The Shepherd is looking a few pounds high in the weights while the remainder are mostly out of sorts.
