Grand Terre, Parkview Love, and Time To Regret are three against the field in this wide open affair, and preference is for Grand Terre. A dual winner at Ripon and Beverley last season, Grand Terre ran a blinder on his seasonal re-appearance at Redcar. Given plenty to do, he came with a strong run but just failed to get up, beaten a short head. Unlike many of his rivals here, he comes here with a run behind him and looks to have the right credentials. Time To Regret finished last season well, with a win at Nottingham in November, as well as some other good placed efforts. He has won on easier ground than this but must be respected as he has also run well on faster ground, including when a good second here in September. Parkview Love must be one of the busiest horses in training, following a summer campaign by running regularly on the all-weather this winter with a couple of wins to his credit. He will be fit, but may find one or two too good and Grand Terre can make amends for that narrow defeat.
