Above Board Has had plenty of chances and it would be a major surprise if there weren't at least three too good for him in this.
At'em Donut (IRE) Well behind The Scaffolder on recent debut here. Led for much of the way so may be better over this minimum trip, but still unlikely to reverse the form.
Charango (USA) Unraced Danzig colt recently sold for 13,000 Guineas. Jockey booking catches the eye and one to be wary of, particularly if supported in the betting ring.
Bestmortgage Uk Well beaten on debut here over a mile. Big drop back in trip but still difficult to make a case for her.
A Teen Placed last two runs at Lingfield. Now having his first outing at Southwell, and if the track suits him he would rate a big danger in this.
David Wynne Booking of Jamie Spencer catches the eye, but has failed to show much in four starts and others preferrred.
Headland (USA) Showed plenty of promise on sole juvenile start at Yarmouth and if he was fit and could handle the surface it would be no surprise to see him play a prominent part in this.
Panjandrum Polar Falcon gelding, cost 16,000 Guineas as a yearling and heralds from a stable celebrating success in the Lincoln at the weekend. No surprise to see him play a major role here, and the market may give a clue as to his chance.
The Scaffolder One or two reasonable efforts, including when second here last time, give him a fair chance though looks quite exposed and it would be a surprise if there were not at least one or two too good.
China Fain (IRE) Showed plenty of promise when third on only start here. Open to improvement and this trip could bring the best out of her, but this remains a stiff task.
Red Ryding Hood Although she failed to get her head in front last year she can boast some useful form. If fit and able to cope with this new surface she would definitely be the one to beat.
She's Smokin Little show in two outings to date and not expected to improve enough to feature here.
