        Verdict

        A competitive field goes to post for the first on the card but the main protagonists look to be Rhetorical, Circassian and Kings Rock and we will take a chance on Rhetorical. The colt from the Sir Mark Prescott yard looks to be the stables first choice on breeding he is by Unfuwain whose prodigy go well on this surface. His stable companion Circassian is by Groom Dancer but he is a late foal and he may come on for the run. Kings Rock is another worthy of consideration but he was a disappointing favourite last time and is unproven on this surface. Of the remainder Ermine Grey has shown a modicum of ability and is open to improvement but we are happy to side with the newcomer Rhetorical.
