Armagh South has won well on this ground before so whilst his only win came on soft ground here last time out, we will side with him to score again at the main expense of Ballyhoo and Sir Laughalot. the last-named has been out of form of late which won't amuse her lovely trainer Emma Lavelle however the step up in trip today may suit and he looks one for place purposes. Of more interest for win bets could be Armagh South who has been given a break since showing a willing attitude to score over course and distance. Whilst that form looks about as good as a chocolate fireguard, this affair looks equally poor and he could be up to going in again. Ballyhoo is another who has been given a chance to recharge the batteries after some fairly consistent efforts and has claims despite being 8lbs above his highest winning mark. Son Of Greek Myth is a course and distance winner so must be accorded due respect. He is likely to be up with the pace and could have some of these on the stretch early on. Shingle Street is back on a winning mark and if putting his poor last run behind him can go well at a price, however we will very reluctantly return to Armagh South as the nomination.
