Verdict

With 5 winning favourites and just two winners returned at double figure prices over the last 10 renewals it's relatively safe to concentrate on the probable market leaders in a competitive race. KID CASSIDY may well head the betting following his third in a competitive bumper at Punchestown and he'll be expected to make up into a decent novice hurdler. Merehead can step up on the form of his reappearance in a Chepstow bumper that is working out well whilst Ohio Gold can benefit from the experience of his hurdling bow at Chepstow and a subsequent easy win for the second gives the form some substance. Somewhatinevitable, Tornado Bob and Dixie Bull all need to improve but look most interesting of the remainder.
