Regal Holly has been in fine form this season in similar contests, notching up a win to go with three seconds and this looks to be a good opportunity for her to put in another decent effort. Despite giving away 6lb to all her opponents, the mare should have frame claims once again, though she might find a second win over fences evades her here. Instead, we will go for Deep Sunset. The seven-year-old makes her fencing debut here and was as good as if not better than most of these over hurdles. Sure to have been well schooled by Nicky Henderson, she does appear to like a bit of cut, but she should be able to jump nicely on this decent surface and if that happens then she will have too much speed for the others. She is a tentative, rather than confident choice. Coquelles was thrashed on her own chasing debut at Southwell last year. She has reverted to hurdles for her two runs since, but goes back chasing after a confidence boosting win over timber last time at Hereford the other day. She looks to have no easy task here though and a place looks her best chance. Parlour Game has been knocking on the door in similar races this term, but looks a bit of a one pacer. One heavy ground win would appear to support that notion and despite her trainer's great record here she is unlikely to do better than a place. The same can be said of Opal'lou, while Paul Webber's Jeruflo would be interesting if she is fit after a few months off. The market might be our best guide there.
