Verdict

Gravardlax looked a decent performer last year and could be good enough to land this maiden, Maid To Treasure and Sian Thomas look the main dangers. Brian Meehan's colt hasn't fulfilled that first season promise but has contested some decent races this season including the Easter Stakes at Kempton in the spring. He wasn't beaten far in a decent handicap at Ascot last time off a mark of 82 and should have the class to beat these rivals. Maid To Treasure has disappointed recently on testing ground but put up some good efforts earlier in the year and if acting on the Polytrack could be a big threat. Sian Thomas is from a top yard and put up a decent display in a hot maiden here last week and should be in the shake up. Atlantic City has bits and pieces of form and could also take a hand in the finish, but Gravardlax should take this, if handling the surface
