This is a competitive handicap to close the card and the shortlist contains Palmetto Point, Anthea and Zelos and the vote is given to Palmetto Point. The selection won well last time at Warwick and as that was an apprentice handicap he escapes a penalty today. He gets on well with his pilot and goes on the ground so he has enough ticks in the right boxes to make him the one to beat. Anthea was a clear second behind Etain last time and she is dangerously well-handicapped at present. She is another that will go on the ground and she is afforded plenty of respect. Zelos ran well over a trip short of his best last time but he has yet to get his head in front and although he should go well others are preferred. Serene Highness is worth a look in the market on her handicap bow, but Palmetto Point arrives here in good form and can win again.
