MARGOT MINE is more consistent than most and is a course and distance winner; she gets the vote over Near The Front and Actress Annie. Not the most auspicious of starts to the card and some of these three-year-old's appear to be allergic to winning. The selection has three course wins to her name and she only found one too good last time at Kempton; a return to this track may be in her favour and she is well-drawn. Actress Annie has a mark of 45 for her handicap debut and there is no lower place to start, whilst Near The Front is fairly consistent but is ultimately yet to win in seven. Felicia needs watching in the betting from a shrewd stable, whilst L'Art Du Silence has been given a break after some poor efforts earlier in the year. A poor start, with Margot Mine given the nod.
