LEAD KINDLY LIGHT just failed to cope with the in-form Speckled Wood at Clonmel on Thursday and looks well enough handicapped over timber these days to gain compensation. American Flyer loves heavy ground, as he showed when landing a Tipperary maiden in October, but he'd run poorly on his two earlier starts at this track.
