In depth

Verdict

Petroupetrov, Common Girl and Saint Godegrand are three against the field in this tight handicap hurdle and the nomination is given to Petroupetrov. The selection was disappointing on heavy ground last time out but prior to that he had been in good form he looks sure to appreciate this faster ground and off what looks a handy mark he looks a value bet. Common Girl is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but she has had plenty of chances off similar marks without taking one and again she looks vulnerable. Saint Godegrand has is well in on his best form but he has shown little of late so can not be put forward with much confidence. Aston's best form is on fast ground while Pearly Star has the ability to go close off this mark but does not always ordain to use it and for the winner we return to Petroupetrov.
