Hamish McGonagall rates a positive pick in this contest over Fol Hollow and Cake. The selection has early pace and has the one box tonight at Chester and these attributes are always likeable in sprints around the sharp track. Any overnight rain should not harm the chances of Tim Easterby's charge and the ever popular David Allan rides. Fol Hollow has ran much better than his recent lines of form suggest. His third to Prohibit at headquarters. would rate as some of the best form on offer here. Cake is arguably the best horse in the race. It will take some effort to make it count from box eight tonight. Secret Asset and Little Pete are unproven on anything worse than good. Thunder Bay has placed here in the past and makes a degree of interest granted the stable form. Requisite is better known as an all-weather performer and needs to improve on a recent Newmarket run. Speed Song is one to note in the market. A useful juvenile, if she has trained on she could literally be anything. We will stick with proven form and with Hamish McGonagall.
