This handicap looks to be the most competitive race on the card and Pride of Kinloch, Kalani Star and Borodinsky are all sure to have their supporters with the vote given to Kalani Star. The selection finished behind Borodinsky last time out over this course and distance. However, he does have a nice pull in the weights with that rival today and at the revised terms he is expected to turn the tables. Pride of Kinloch won well last time at Ayr when beating Avontuur. However, she had the race run to suit that day and she is unlikely to be given the easy lead tonight that she got that day. Thornaby Green is better than he showed last time and he could have place prospects now that he is racing back at his optimum trip. Linden's Lady won well last time but looks vulnerable under her penalty here, and for the winner we will return to Kalani Star.
