Melodian, Tedsdale Mac and Rotuma all look to have solid claims here in a competitive handicap and we will give the vote to Tedsdale Mac. The selection has been knocking on the door for some time and was unlucky when just beaten last time behind Opening Ceremony. He hasn't won for over two years but now looks ready to take his turn and with his yard in good form he should take plenty of beating. Melodian won well when defeating Trouble Mountain last time but this is a tougher race and he looks opposable with a 6lb penalty for that success. Rotuma is a course and distance winner who showed a game attitude to beat Burgundy last time. He won that day off his highest mark and now looks to have it all to do with a further 6lb penalty for that win. Miss Pebbles is in good form at present and if the market speaks in the favour of this Stuart Williams-trained filly then it could pay to take the hint, but we will stick with Tedsdale Mac who remains on a handy mark and looks ready to take his turn.
