The usual suspects are in opposition and relative newcomer, Birkside should be up to seeing off Competitor and Undeterred. The selection had some fair form over this trip when with Walter Swinburn and would have been a much shorter price had he not run a shocker at Kempton last week. It's impossible to believe that he has lost so much ability so quickly and we chance him to make amends over a much more suitable trip. Competitor would have been the most likely selection were this raced staged at Lingfield's polytrack. He has ability although his record on the turf is not so spectacular with just one win from 11 starts. Undeterred is sure to be producing a rare old rattle at the death and has to be a player if reproducing his better efforts. Bethanys Boy has ran creditably on the all-weather in recent weeks although he is still a maiden on the turf after numerous attempts. Mayireneyrbel is watched in the market as she makes her first appearance at this grade. Baby Barry looks best of the rest. Not a race for the notebook and Birkside is put forward as the token pick.
