NFL: Peyton Manning is pitted against Andrew Luck as Denver prepare for visit of Indianapolis

Quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck will take centre stage as the Denver Broncos face the Indianapolis Colts in Sunday’s play-off clash.
The 38-year-old Manning missed all of last week’s workouts with a thigh injury, but has declared himself fit for the arrival of the Colts at Mile High, live on Sky Sports.
Luck has outshone the former Colt this season, leading the NFL with a career-high 40 touchdown passes and finished third with 4,761 yards, just ahead of Manning's 4,727.
The final seven weeks have proved a difficult spell for Manning, who has thrown 10 touchdowns and eight interceptions during this spell, but he led the Broncos to victory in his most recent reunion with his ex-employers.
Manning picked up three touchdowns as Denver held on for a 31-24 home win in September, with Luck producing two TDs for the beaten side.
The 25-year-old Colts man warmed up for this encounter by completing 31 of 44 passes for 376 yards with a TD in last weekend’s 26-10 wild-card win over Cincinnati.
Wide receiver T.Y Hilton proved a useful outlet, catching six passes for 103 yards, and running back Daniel Herron also troubled the Bengals with 10 for 85.
But Denver also possess a dangerous running back in C.J Anderson as he led the NFL with 648 rushing yards and eight TDs over the last six weeks of the regular season.
Tight end Julius Thomas, who hauled in 12 TD over the first nine games, should suit up for the Broncos, despite a troublesome ankle injury.
Left guard Orlando Franklin has also been cleared to play after concussion, but safety David Bruton Jr is a doubt due to the same problem.
You can watch Sunday's playoff clash between Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts at 9pm on Sky Sports 3.
