With eight seconds remaining in the first half of Thursday night's game, the Denver Broncos punted but committed fair catch interference. That meant that the Los Angeles Chargers were entitled to kick a field goal, which Cameron Dicker converted from 57 yards out, marking the first successful fair catch kick since Ray Wersching from 45 yards for the Chargers against the Bills in 1976.

The Kansas City Chiefs extended their NFL record of successive one-possession victories to 16 as Patrick Mahomes won 14 games as a starter for the third time in his career. All 14 of their wins have come while scoring 30-or-fewer points, breaking the 13-win mark set by the Frankford Yellow Jackets back in 1925.

The Baltimore Ravens clinched a playoff spot with their victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday as Lamar Jackson broke his own franchise record with a 37th touchdown pass. Derrick Henry passed 1,500 rushing yards for the fourth time in his career, and now only trails Barry Sanders' five such seasons.

Highlights of the Houston Texans' clash with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16 of the NFL

The Detroit Lions defeated the Chicago Bears to set a new franchise record with their 13th win of the season and remain the only undefeated team on the road in 2024.

The Bears' losing streak is now at nine games, despite Caleb Williams' Interception-less streak now extending to 326 straight pass attempts, which is both an NFL rookie record and a Bears franchise record. No other quarterback has ever lost as many as nine games in a season despite throwing no interceptions in those games.

Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns meanwhile became the joint fourth-fastest player to ever reach 100 sacks:

Jayden Daniels led the Washington Commanders to a dramatic victory over the Philadelphia Eagles as he became just the third quarterback to have at least five touchdown passes and rush for at least 75 yards in the same game, after Cam Newton and Lamar Jackson.

With victory on Sunday Night for the Dallas Cowboys against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cooper Rush has now defeated four Heisman Trophy-winning quarterbacks in just 13 career starts, including Joe Burrow, Jayden Daniels, Bryce Young and Baker Mayfield.
