Osi Umenyiora explains why we're thankful for Thanksgiving's NFL fixtures

Two-time Super Bowl winner Osi Umenyiora claims he endured his worst ever performance on a Thanksgiving - but explained why it's an important day for NFL.
The former New York Giants defensive end, one of just three British-born players to win a Super Bowl, visited Sky Sports to help with the announcement for next season's Wembley and Twickenham fixtures.
We asked Umenyiora why Thanksgiving is so special - and what to look out for in Sky Sports' televised games on Thursday...
"It's a time for families to get together, everybody will be watching, so the NFL puts a presentation on," Umenyiora explained.
"Sit down and see what the NFL is all about. This is the entertainment business, and what better entertainment than the NFL on Thanksgiving?

"I played against the Denver Broncos and had the worst game of my life! I remember that, it's a true story. That was the only game I played on Thanksgiving - I don't know what happened but it was nothing to do with eating too much turkey."

Umenyiora said: "The Eagles are a desperate team right now, they need to win. There's a lot of pressure on Chip Kelly but I think the Eagles will pull that off."

Umenyiora said: "The Cowboys have got their quarterback, Tony Romo, back. He makes the difference, of course he does. They won three games with him and lost seven without him. He'll be fit enough to play, I don't think they would rush him back. They've invested too much money in him for that. Romo is a top 10 quarterback, for sure."

Umenyiora said: "The Bears have been playing a lot better lately, and the Packers have been struggling although they did win their last game. I think the Packers need to win this game more than Chicago does. That will make all the difference here - you have to want it!"
