Manchester Thunder’s Joyce Mvula has been voted the Fans' Player of the Season for 2019.

After over 5,500 votes the Grand Finalist and Malawian international shooter, just edged-out Loughborough Lightning's captain Nat Panagarry to top spot. Team Bath's Sophie Drakeford-Lewis then followed in third position.

Mvula is in her third season with the Black and Yellows and was instrumental in their Grand Final victory before having to leave the court with a knee injury.

Throughout the season, and in the season finale, her high shooting accuracy has combined with exceptional split-steps and excellent partnerships with Kathryn Turner and her mid-court attackers.

Sky Sports and Vitality Netball Superleague combined together to reveal the 10-strong list of nominees for Fans' Player of the Season.

We turned to the clubs for the nominations and using Players Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year votes as well as fans reactions throughout the season.

Lightning's Panagarry produced a captain's season for Sara Bayman's outfit, spearheading them from the mid-court at both Wing Defence and Centre.
