Manchester Thunder have confirmed the signing of New Zealand star Liana Leota to complete their 10-strong 2019 squad.
The mid-courter returns for a fourth season with the Black & Yellow having first moved to the North West in 2015.
Thunder finished third in the Vitality Netball Superleague last year, they will be hoping the return of Leota will bolster their bid of a return to the Grand Final.
The 33-year-old former Silver Fern has been instrumental in helping Thunder qualify for the play-offs in every one of her seasons with the club and her performances have earned her a place on the Superleague All-Star VII team for the past two years.
"I'm really excited about the season ahead," Leota said. "I think we've got an awesome team."
Manchester Thunder managing director Debbie Hallas said: "Liana was one of the first players we wanted to secure for next season, her play-making and breath-taking skills show she is one of the best wing attacks in the business. Not only that, her experience and leadership skills make her a vital member of the team.
"We are looking forward to seeing what she can do in her fourth season with us."
