Donovan Mitchell got on the end of an a Royce O'Neale lob to slam home the alley-oop over James Harden's head

Donovan Mitchell punctuated a storming 31-point outing with a resounding tomahawk dunk as the Utah Jazz beat the Houston Rockets in Game 4 to keep their first-round series alive.

Mitchell scored a game-high 31 points on 11-of-26 shooting as the Jazz staved off elimination with a 107-91 win to trail the Rockets 3-1.

The Jazz guard connected on three of his seven three-point attempts and added seven rebounds, four assists and a steal.

Mitchell punctuated his game-winning display with a spectacular finish in the final minutes of the game.

With 4:18 remaining, Royce O'Neale forced James Harden into a turnover at the Jazz's three-point line. The ball bobbled to Mitchell who immediately dribbled up the right wing before dishing the ball back inside to O'Neale.

The Jazz forward returned the favour, lofting a lobbed pass above the Rockets' rim where Mitchell rose to hammer home an emphatic right-handed tomahawk dunk.
