Montrezl Harrell unleashed a vicious dunk en route to 32 points in the Los Angeles Clippers' 121-112 win over the Dallas Mavericks.
Harrell's game-high haul formed part of another stirring Clippers recovery powered by their bench players, who are averaging 52.9 points per game and are on pace to become the highest-scoring reserve unit in the NBA in 30 years.
Harrell and Lou Williams (21 points, 10 assists) led that bench unit with distinction as the Clippers won for the fourth time in their last six games to maintain their playoff push. The pair are combining for 36.0 points per game which, if sustained until the end of the season, will be the highest average for a reserve duo in NBA history.
Harrell and Williams combined for the Clippers' highlight of the night with 7:26 remaining in the second quarter. Harrell handed the ball off to Williams before rolling into the lane to take the return pass.
Mis-matched Mavs defender JJ Barea wanted no part of Harrell as he drove the lane, rising to the rim before cocking his right arm and unleashing an authoritative one-handed slam.
