Jamal Murray beats the buzzer from half-court in Denver Nuggets' heavy loss to Golden State Warriors

The Denver Nuggets endured a miserable night as they fell to a heavy defeat to the Golden State Warriors but Jamal Murray provided a moment to remember by draining a buzzer-beater from half-court.

The Nuggets were put to the sword in the first quarter as the Warriors posted an NBA-record 51 points in the period.

However, in what may well become a historical footnote, Murray had the last word for Denver as time expired.

Murray brought the ball upcourt as the clock ticked down and, as he crossed into the Warriors' half, had no option other than to loft a halfcourt heave.

The shot left Murray's hand with 1.2 seconds left on the clock and, as the buzzer sounded, banked into the Warriors' basket off the backboard for a spectacular three-pointer.
