Chauncey Billups to be interviewed by Minnesota Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves will interview Chauncey Billups as the fourth and final candidate vying to become president of basketball operations, according to ESPN.
Minnesota already has met with Denver Nuggets executive Calvin Booth, Brooklyn Nets executive Trajan Langdon and Houston Rockets executive Gersson Rosas about the vacant position, the reports say.
The team is looking to fill the void created in early January when it fired Tom Thibodeau, who served a dual role as coach and president of basketball operations.
Billups currently serves as an ESPN analyst. He had a 17-year career in the NBA, including two seasons with Minnesota in 2000-01 and 2001-02.
The Timberwolves' next president is expected to have a big role in deciding the futures of general manager Scott Layden and interim coach Ryan Saunders.
