Braun Strowman pulls part of the Raw set down on top of Kane and Brock Lesnar: Raw, Jan. 8, 2018

WWE Universal champion Brock Lesnar left Monday Night Raw in an ambulance after a brutal attack by Braun Strowman.

Lesnar was making his way up the ramp following Paul Heyman's in-ring promo when he was initially attacked by Kane, with the confrontation spilling to the backstage area.

There, both men were downed by Strowman, who threw huge storage cases at each competitor and then used a grappling hook to pull down a lighting rig onto both Lesnar and Kane.

Kane refused medical attention and left the building but the champion had to be placed on a stretcher and put into the back of an ambulance as Heyman looked on in horror.

Strowman issued his trademark roar to complete his statement ahead of the triple threat match between the trio at Royal Rumble on January 28.

Watch as The Miz and The Miztourage assaulted Roman Reigns, punctuating the attack with a brazen mockery of The Shield’s Triple Powerbomb.

To do that, The Miz must first take the belt from Reigns, who has proved to be nothing less than a superb fighting champion in his two-month run with the gold.

On Raw this week, he found himself alongside Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan in a six-man tag against Balor Club, who Jordan had upset earlier in the night with another intriguing performance on the mic.

The Miz aims to reclaim his Intercontinental Championship when he battles Roman Reigns on the 25th anniversary of Raw.

Balor pinned Rollins for the win in that match and then things got worse for Reigns, with the Miztourage entering the fray and giving him a Shield-style triple powerbomb.
