Former WWE star Chavo Guerrero Sr, the brother of the late Eddie Guerrero and the father of Chavo Guerrero Jr, has died at the age of 68.
Guerrero's son Chavo Jr revealed the news on Instagram, announcing that his father had been diagnosed with liver cancer last month.
Guerrero Sr, who came to be known as Chavo Classic in WWE, won a host of titles during his wrestling career, including the NWA Americas Heavyweight Championship on 15 occasions.
The Texas-born star, the elder brother of fellow wrestlers Eddie, Mando and Hector, began working for WWE in 2004.
He became the oldest WWE Cruiserweight Champion in history, at the age of 55, when he defeated son Chavo and Spike Dudley in a Triple Threat Match on Smackdown.
A number of WWE stars, including Triple H and William Regal, have paid their respects to Guerrero on Twitter.
