Late finish in prospect at The Crucible

Neil Robertson will take a 12-10 lead into the last session of his Betfred.com World Championship final showdown with Graeme Dott. The Australian shared the restructured third session with his Scottish counterpart to leave the match fascinatingly poised. Resuming with a 9-7 lead in his first Crucible final, 28-year-old Robertson preserved his two-frame lead as only six of the scheduled eight frames were played out in the afternoon session due to slow play. With 13 frames still possible, all signs now point to a late finish in Sheffield. Dott struck first with a fine break of 79 to reduced the gap to 9-8, however Robertson responded in style with back-to-back frames, aided by breaks of 49 and 82. Scotsman Dott, who had to come through the qualifying stage after dropping out of the top 16 last year, slipped 12-9 behind when Robertson made a break of 51. However the 2006 champion ended the session on a high with the first century of the final, a satisfying 112, to remain in the hunt.
