Celtic Warrior secures title showdown with Orton

Sheamus came out on top in a Triple Threat Number One Contender's Match on Friday Night SmackDown. After their edge of the seat championship showdown at Over the Limit this past Sunday, Christian congratulated Randy Orton on his victory and asked him for another rematch. However, Sheamus and Mark Henry had other ideas and voiced their intent on becoming the next in line to face The Viper for the World Heavyweight Championship. As all three Superstars exchanged verbal's, SmackDown GM Teddy Long declared that the three challengers would battle it out in a Triple Threat main event to see who would face Randy Orton for the title next week on SmackDown. Tension was at an all-time high when the three clashed inside the squared circle in the night's main event. And when Mark Henry opted to shove the observing Orton at ringside, The Viper jumped into the ring and delivered a devastating RKO to The World's Strongest Man. The result of which, distracted the referee, preventing Christian from getting a three-count on Sheamus. Before Captain Charisma could regroup, the rejuvenated Celtic Warrior levelled him with a big boot, covering him for an important victory. As a result of the main event, Orton will put his title on the line against two-time former WWE Champion Sheamus next week on Friday Night SmackDown.
