Arsenal fans must remain positive despite a disappointing week, that's according to comedian David Schneider.
The Gunners were dumped out of the Champions League on Tuesday night by Barcelona, leaving everyone involved with the club deflated.
However, Arsene Wenger's men are still in the hunt for domestic silverware and Schneider, who lives a stone's throw away from Highbury, says their season can still be salvaged.
"It's been hard, it's been really disappointing, but you have to go - like the players have to go - there's still two competitions to play for and if we win today it all looks very different," he told Soccer AM.
"If we beat Man Utd then it's a fantastic boost and our season really starts to take off and Man Utd will have confidence problems - so both teams need to win."
Controversial
Arsenal's exit from Europe was made all the more difficult to take after Robin van Persie's controversial second-half sending-off.
Swiss referee Massimo Busacca adjudged Van Persie to be time wasting when he had a shot at goal just one second after the referee had blown his whistle, and promptly issued the Dutchman his second yellow card of the night.
It was a decision which irked all Arsenal fans, as well as most neutrals, and Schneider says it was a 'cruel' decision.
"I do think if Van Persie hadn't been sent off then we would have stood a good chance of winning, I really do," he said.
"I've spoken to several dogs and they said even they said they couldn't hear the whistle!
"And even if he had had heard it, it was so cruel to send him off."
