Show-Off outlasts Tyson Kidd and Cesaro in Liverpool

Dolph Ziggler retained the Intercontinental Title on Smackdown after winning a pulsating Triple Threat Elimination Encounter.
The Show-Off saw off Cesaro and Tyson Kidd in Liverpool on Friday night to keep his momentum rolling ahead of his appearance in the Team Cena-Team Authority bout at Survivor Series.

Ziggler, Cesaro and Kidd put on a wrestling clinic for the British fans, producing suplexes, powerbombs, kicks, submission moves and an array of high-flying tactics.
The champion was in vintage form throughout but it was Hart Dungeon graduate Kidd who secured the first elimination, pinning Cesaro after Ziggler had administered a Zig Zag.

However, Ziggler did collect the decisive fall, clocking Kidd with another Zig Zag to preserve his grip on the title he pinched from The Miz on an episode of Monday Night Raw in September.
The Clevelander will line-up alongside John Cena, Sheamus, Big Show and a yet-to-be-named Superstar for the clash with Team Authority at Survivor Series on Sunday night.
Ryback could still be part of that match but it looks increasingly unlikely that he will represent Team Authority after blasting Kane with a steel chair at the end of Smackdown’s main event.
Intense
The Big Guy looked to have the Big Red Monster beaten on the blue brand – until the veteran whacked him with a metal seat and caused the dustup to end in a disqualification.
Ryback, however, then flattened Kane with a spinebuster and multiple chair shots, before engaging in an intense stare-down with Authority head honcho Triple H on the ring apron.
Triple H backed away before a fist could be thrown – and he also walked from The Highlight Reel earlier in the evening after becoming frustrated by Chris Jericho’s jocularities.
Jericho considered what would happen if Team Authority lost at Survivor Series and were subsequently removed from power, even suggesting The Game could end up cleaning toilets.
The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla’s jokes became too much to bear for Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon and they stomped backstage, much to the delight of the pro-Jericho crowd.
Elsewhere, Bray Wyatt defeated Sin Cara with Sister Abigail before attacking his Survivor Series opponent Dean Ambrose, while Natalya forced British Diva Layla to tap out to the Sharpshooter.
Plus, Adam Rose took out his anger on The Bunny once again following the shindig-loving pair’s non-title loss to WWE Tag Team Champions Gold and Stardust.
The Bunny opted not to tag in Rose and paid the price after being hit with Stardust’s Dark Matter – and then walloped with Party Foul by his enraged partner.
