On Tight Lines: Henry Gilbey joins us and we take a trip to the English Channel

Sea fishing is the focus this week when Keith Arthur will be joined by Henry Gilbey, one of the most passionate anglers on the scene and an absolute lure fishing fanatic!

You can see Henry in his element combining the 3 loves of his life - lure fishing, bass and Ireland - as we revisit a superb trip he enjoyed there for us last year.
We’ll be getting afloat for some great action in the English Channel as Andy Ford takes part in a wreck fishing session aboard the Valkyrie charter boat out of Portsmouth.
You can also see Keith catching his personal-best perch on a lure-fishing session he recently enjoyed with specialist Sam Edmonds on Pitsford Water in Northamptonshire.
In his ‘Fishery Focus’ Keith will also have top tips and advice for all anglers as he looks at what’s being caught, and the most effective tactics, on different types of waters.
Next week
Match fishing takes centre stage next Friday when Keith will be looking back on this weekend’s World Championships in Croatia in the company of Steve Ringer, himself a recently crowned world champion.
