Tipperary put last weekend's defeat to Armagh behind them as they recorded a 1-14 to 1-2 success over Limerick in Division Three of the Allianz Football League.
The Premier County suffered an agonising one-point defeat in the Athletic Grounds last Sunday, but they regrouped to whip their Munster rivals in a foggy Semple Stadium.
During the second half in particular, visibility was so poor that 513 supporters seated in the New Stand were informed of the score on intermittent occasions via the public address system.
Creedon was not “overly pleased” with his side’s display, despite the comfortable nature of the victory on a day when eight players registered scores, including goalkeeper Evan Comerford.
“We weren’t overly pleased with how we were playing. We were slow at times but look, it was probably hard to recover after last weekend,” said Creedon. “That was a tough weekend.”
There was a real gulf in class as Tipp raced into a 0-8 to 0-0 half-time lead, with Limerick registering seven wides in the first period.
The Shannonsiders hinted at a revival when Iain Corbett finally broke their duck in the 45th minute, before Seanie Buckley rammed home a penalty goal.
But Tipp hit back with Ian Fahy blasting home a goal on 49 minutes to end Limerick’s faint hopes of a comeback.
